The Role

We are looking for a Creative Design Director to lead our rapidly growing team. We see this role to be a combination of someone with a Creative Director and Visual Design skill set that knows how to nail an execution, to wow. . With a passion for storytelling and deep knowledge of emerging visual trends, you will have a user driven approach to combining the logic with the trend setting aesthetic. As a rogue experimenter, your team will be made up of a mix of unique skill sets that facilitate the innovative outputs of different mediums.

How do digital and marketing approaches play with industrial design, interior design, and so many more intertwined industries?  As we drive forward on our mission to Design a Better World we believe the lines for human and digital interaction need to be blurred outside the digital domains and live in our experiences. From videography to micro interactions.



  • From the creation of conceptual ideas, to enabling a team to execution, you will combine different design mediums for spectacular outcomes. With a team made up of 3D, motion design, Interaction, Illustration, graphic, branding, videography and more. Creating strategies (either independently or partnered up with peer design practice Directors)in various projects and oversee them to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients gaining a deep understanding of their needs, vision and value we could add.
  • Direct and motivate teams of art directors, illustrators, visual designers, motion artists, videographers copywriters etc. to help them use their talents effectively
  • Ability to plan, facilitate and execute creative workshops to enable team collaboration, pushing the boundaries of the big idea. Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
  • Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that compliments designs 
  • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team
  • Train and guide more junior designers into accomplished professionals
  • Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future

Requirements & skills

  • Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role.
  • Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, video, graphic design and brand development.
  • Outstanding leadership and organisation skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
  • An inspiring thought leader that is able to excite a team.
  • BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset.




At Fierce we’ve been working remotely for the past year, embracing location flexibility fully. We’ve opened our office in London, while continuing to explore how a hybrid working environment can work. We currently expect our team to be working in the office 3 days a week.


  • We know the frustration of seeing an amazing role and not knowing if the pay is a fit.. so we've added the bands here to support pay equity and transparency. The range for this role is £100k to £120k.
